Service Projects

The Drake House

Grand opening is April 30, 2006 and they are in need of help from scouts to help with preparing for the opening the day before (April 29) and also for April 30 to help as "ambassadors". This is a great service project.

Autrey Mill Nature Preserve Service Projects

We have had two scheduled service projects recently. Every unit is encouraged to also look for ways to help the Nature Preserve and/or contact Kristine Macauley for other suggestions.

A Scout is Helpful

Thanks to all the Scouts and their family and friends that participated in the Autrey Mill Service Project on October 9, 2004.

Even with the numerous other scouting opportunities that took place that weekend, Milton District logged over 160 service hours throughout the day which beat last Spring’s total by 10 hours!

We had 6 different units participate. While that number is small, their deeds were great! Autrey Mill identified 10 projects on the “wish list” to complete. The Scouts not only knocked those out but also completed 4 more when the Scouts were done and looking for more to do!!

Each Scout that worked at least 1 hour of service earned a patch. When you see any members of the units on the right, please be sure to tell them “Thanks” for doing a good turn at Autrey Mill.
